This was a painting that I created earlier this year. The year that brought a pandemic to the world, Covid 19. The feeling of devastation and loss is represented by the use of these muted colours.
On the other hand, bright gold runs through the painting to show how people rallied through with love and kindness, especially shown by the works in the NHS and care homes. An extremely difficult year for all!
