This painting was created as a meditative piece. I like to think of colours in space and man's journey through it as a bridge from this planet through the cosmos. A deep meditation aid!
I instinctively use colours to express my feelings and this colour pallette is limited but subtle. I used flicks of colour as I imagine the pathway to be "alive" and moving. As with all paintings, the surface on which I paint is as important as the paints I use. I chose a black background to allow the colours of the path stand out from the sometimes dark areas of the cosmos.
