Hope is a painting that I produced for Twitter Art Exhibition in Moss, Norway. It was painted onto a postcard which is a challenge in itself. I used mixed media and whilst creating the clouds I used my hands too inside of a paintbrush. I love to touch paint as it is a direct way of painting and feels as though I am connecting directly onto the canvas. I am about to start a painting on a larger scale similar to this one as I loved the colours. I found it to be a very soothing, yet strong palette.
